As a mom of three in the 21st century, I understand the frustration of feeling like you have to meet the impossible beauty standards of the media, feed your family a nutritious meal, get in a decent workout, keep your house clean and try to keep the little humans alive while you try to practice some self-care - maybe like once a month, if you're lucky, but also feeling like there's not enough hours in the day.
As a Certified Integrative Nutrition, Health & Wellness Coach, my approach to helping overworked and overstressed women is simple: give my clients the wellness education, tools and resources that they need in order to feel happy, healthy, and capable of managing life’s pressures.
One of my biggest pet peeves about nutrition is the fact so many women think in order to lose weight they have to cut back on calories to less than 1200 a day and do a ton of cardio 5-7 days a week but guess what, that's simply not true. In fact, that added stress of calorie restriction and added cardio is what's going to keep you from succeeding and from getting the body you are aiming for.
